Can you help support Lincolnshire’s homeless this winter?

The last few years, as everyone is aware, have felt uncertain at the best of times and we’ve recently been reminded it’s easy to forget there are people feeling more uncertain about their future than most of us.

As a result we’ve decided to see if we can help in our own little way local people in difficult life situations without a roof over their head.

We are starting to collect items of food, clothing and toiletries for Lincolnshire Nomad Trust, who provide the only emergency access to night shelter accommodation in Lincolnshire.

The Nomad Centre provides 22 rooms for temporary accommodation for those who are homeless or threatened with homelessness. They aim to help those with the greatest needs gain access to appropriate health care and other support services, and crucially, suitable, secure accommodation.

It’s a male and female unit for adults over 18, providing a safe and supportive environment, with housing and mental health support plus a full time cook. As mentioned we’re starting collecting items to provide a little help and wonder if you would like to help too, by donating items such as :

Shampoo and conditioner
Deodorant
Shower gel
Toothpaste
Toothbrushes
Razors & shaving foam
New clothing items such as socks or underwear

You can find more about what they need on their ‘Most Wanted List’ and if this is something you’d like to get involved with, we’d really appreciate your donations which can be dropped off at our Hykeham office or main office on Wavell Drive :

Hykeham office address :
2 Station Rd, North Hykeham, Lincoln LN6 9AQ

Main office address :
Unit 1, Witham Point, Wavell Dr, Lincoln LN3 4PL

Thank you in advance for your support if you decide to help. If you’d like to more about The Nomad Centre click on the video below or if you’ve questions do not hesitate to call or send an email.
Many thanks,

Clifford Jones
Managing Director
